This Privacy Policy explains how MixAware collects, uses, stores, and protects information when you use the MixAware iOS app.

MixAware provides informational risk education only. It is not medical advice, diagnosis, prescription, treatment, or an emergency service.

MixAware uses local interaction data first. When local data does not resolve a pair, MixAware may use AI-assisted review to generate limited informational support.

Information submitted for AI-assisted review may include the names or identifiers of substances being checked. AI-assisted review may be incomplete, inaccurate, outdated, or wrong. It is not medical advice.

We do not sell your personal information.

We may use service providers to operate the app, including cloud hosting, database infrastructure, authentication, and AI-assisted processing. These providers may process information only as needed to provide their services.

We may disclose information if required by law, legal process, or to protect the rights, safety, or security of users, the public, MixAware, or our service providers.

MixAware may process health-related or substance-related information that you choose to enter. Do not enter information you are not comfortable storing or processing through the app.

MixAware is not intended to replace a doctor, pharmacist, poison control center, emergency service, or licensed clinician.

We keep information for as long as needed to provide the app, maintain account functionality, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, improve safety and reliability, and enforce our terms.

Some technical logs and cached interaction data may be retained for reliability, abuse prevention, quality improvement, or cost control. Shared app data, such as the general product database, interaction rules, and non-user-specific caches, may be retained separately from user account data.

7. Account Deletion

You can request deletion of your account from within the MixAware app through Settings. When you delete your account, MixAware will delete or anonymize account-related data associated with your user account, such as sessions, saved profile information, and account-linked records, where technically and legally possible.

Deleting your account does not delete global app data, public interaction information, product databases, or non-user-specific caches.

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures designed to protect information. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. Children and Minors

MixAware is not intended for children. If you are a minor, use MixAware only with a parent, guardian, doctor, pharmacist, or qualified clinician.

10. International Users

If you use MixAware outside the United States, your information may be processed in the United States or other locations where our service providers operate. By using MixAware, you understand that your information may be transferred and processed outside your country of residence.

11. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we may notify users through the app, on this website, or by other appropriate means.
